The Business Analyst serves as a conduit between the business customer and software vendors/developers and the Manager to formulate system requirements, design and document workflow and operational processes, enable quality assurance and testing, and work with the team to implement system related projects. What’s involvedScope and plan business deliverables for ProjectsManage the project requirements specifications.Provide process mapping of the system based on customer requirements / best practice.Support the planning and coordination of activities related to the delivery of the project.Undertake detailed analysis of all aspects of business requirements related to projects.Liaise with key stakeholders (internal and external) to identify extra functionality available or required to support the needs of the business.Quality Management of Deliverables through Verification and Validation ManagementQuality Assurance – as part of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) You’ll needEssential Skills and Experiences Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Business Analysis, or equivalent work experience.Over 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with expertise in business process re-engineering, process modelling, and IT systems implementation.Strong understanding of technology and business systems, both strategically and operationally, with substantial experience in IT and operational processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft DevOps, and Business Analysis tools, with strong change management capabilities.Proven experience working with senior-level stakeholders and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and strong time management and planning skills. Desirable Skills and Experiences Experience working in an Agile team.Knowledge of Project Management disciplines. Why AustalCompetitive compensation and benefits package.Professional development and training opportunities.A supportive and dynamic work environment.Opportunities for career advancement within our growing organisation. Due to the Security Clearance required for this position, we prefer applicants be an Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain and uphold a Baseline Security Clearance through the Australian Department of Defence.
