About the OpportunityAs the Warehouse and Logistics Manager for Austal Defence Australia (ADA), you’ll be responsible for planning, establishing and physically setting up new warehouse facilities to support new ship construction activities. This includes warehouse design and layout, racking and equipment installation, traffic and material flow planning, systems readiness, recruitment, procedures, training and operational launch. You’ll Need

  • Current forklift license
  • Current manual driver’s licence
  • 5+ years relevant Warehousing and Logistics experience within a Marine Support, Engineering, Manufacturing or Defence organisation
  • Working experience in a computerised ERP environment
  • Demonstrated ability to generate rapport with key internal customers and influence positive outcomes
  • Tertiary level qualifications in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain or similar (desirable)
  • Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance
