Warehouse & Logistics SupervisorHenderson, WA What’s on Offer40 hours per week 8.5 hours Monday - Thursday with 6 hours on a FridayASX-Listed company I Global shipbuilder I Career growth opportunities.Salary Sacrificing, Novated Leasing, Retailer discount, EAP, Insurance discounts.The OpportunityThe Warehousing and Logistics Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising a Warehousing and Logistics Team throughout Austal facilities, executing safe, timely and accurate receipt, recording, and disbursement of tools, raw material, manufactured and finished equipment (goods), in line with Supply Chain Process.The Warehousing and Logistics Supervisor is accountable for ensuring the team have an understanding of, and motivation to achieve against, a set vision and purpose, encouraging and supporting personnel to accomplish set goals in a safe and productive environment.The role supports the Warehousing and Logistics Lead to oversee the day-to-day management of operations and personnel, acting up when required. What’s involvedLead and manage a high performing Warehousing and Logistics Team, ensuring Team complies with Supply Chain Process.Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ensure Warehousing and Logistics operations across Austal facilities run effectively and efficiently.Provide services for material movement around site with powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks) in a safe manner whilst maintaining an operator license.Stowing, picking, packaging and handling of goods in line with Supply Chain procedures for safe storage and/or transit of goods.You’ll needEssentialCurrent forklift license.Current manual driver’s license.5 + years relevant Warehousing and Logistics experience within a Marine Support, Engineering, Manufacturing or Defence organisation.Working experience in a computerised ERP environment.Completion of Austal Operational Leadership Program.Demonstrated ability to generate rapport with key internal customers and influence positive outcomes.DesirableTraining in Continuous Improvement Systems (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, TQM).Tertiary level qualifications in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or similar.Participation in High Performing Team training.Pronto or IFS experience.
