About the Opportunity
The Warehouse & Logistics Officer is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate receipt, storage, handling, recording, movement, and dispatch of materials, tools, consumables, and equipment in support of production and operational requirements.
The role ensures inventory accuracy, supports efficient warehouse and logistics processes, and contributes to continuous improvement across the Supply Chain function.
The role reports to the Warehousing and Logistics Manager.

What’s Involved
- Perform receiving, inspection, recording, storage, picking, packing, issuing, and dispatch activities in line with Supply Chain procedures
- Maintain a tidy, safe, compliant warehouse environment aligned with 5S principles
- Ensure all hazardous materials are stored in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Support routine stocktaking, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy activities
- Assist in the movement of materials and equipment around site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other approved equipment
- Support the logistics process including freight documentation, goods-in/goods-out recording, and coordination with logistics service providers
- Inventory Control
- Maintain up-to-date IFS records for all items stored, issued, or dispatched
- Ensure sufficient supply of consumables, tools, and equipment to production teams, including support for Kanban or replenishment processes when applicable
- Support thirdâparty subcontractors in completing required IFS Work Order and Shop Order transactions, ensuring all material movements, consumption, and returns are accurately recorded to maintain full inventory traceability until DSY integration is implemented
- Liaise with Procurement to provide accurate, timely feedback on received or missing goods, incorrect deliveries, or quality issues
- Provide excellent service to production and maintenance teams through timely, accurate material support
- Contribute to improvement initiatives relating to warehouse processes, safety, and efficiency
- Follow all HSEQ, Supply Chain, and company policies, reporting hazards, incidents, or nonâconformances
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, marine, or defence environments
- Tertiary level qualifications in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or similar
- Current manual driver’s license
Essential Requirements
- Current driver’s license or be punctual via other means of transport
- National Police Clearance
- Current forklift license (ugly freight handling, minimum 5T counterbalance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to work safely and efficiently
- Proven experience in warehousing, logistics, or materials handling operations
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP/WMS environments
