What’s Involved

  • Develop, author, and maintain technical publications including Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETP), Operator Manuals and Maintenance Manuals

  • Apply S1000D business rules, data module requirements, and Common Source Database practices
  • Ensure technical data support maintenance planning, training systems, and operational readiness
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Support data exchange requirements
  • Manage configuration control and versioning of technical data products
  • Support verification and validation activities, including technical publication reviews and end user feedback integration

You’ll Need

  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Technical Writing, Information Management or related discipline
  • Experience within Defence, Maritime or engineering environment
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Experience using S1000D – compliant tools and Common Source Database systems
  • Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance
