About the OpportunityAs the Support System Requirements Coordinator for Austal Defence Australia (ADA), you are an Integrated Product Support (IPS) practitioner who collates, analyses and manages Support System Requirements for our major shipbuilding acquisition project. Working closely with the Product Support Manager and a team of IPS specialists, this role analyses data from all IPS elements, and manages all Support System requirements to ensure the Mission System can be effectively supported throughout its life.You’ll coordinate requirements across the five Support System Constituent Capabilities: Operating, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply, and Training Support, and ensure they are clearly defined, traceable, and validated in line with contract and ASDEFCON expectations. You’ll Need

  • A degree (AQF7+) in engineering, logistics, systems engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent Defence industry experience
  • Proven experience in Integrated Product Support / Integrated Logistics Support across the capability lifecycle, including practical application of IPS/ILS elements
  • Demonstrated experience working with ASDEFCON, including developing deliverables that meet Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) obligations
  • Understanding of Support System Constituent Capabilities (Operating, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply and/or Training Support) within complex Defence programs
  • Working knowledge of technical data and configuration management requirements, including data rights, formats, verification/validation, and control in line with Defence standards
  • Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance
