About the Opportunity

As a valued member of the In-Service Support team, the Supply Support Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the effective management and availability of materiel to support asset reliability and operational readiness. This position is responsible for analysing provisioning data, spares requirements, and supply chain information to develop and maintain support solutions that optimise availability, manage obsolescence, and ensure continuity of in-service support in line with operational objectives.

What’s Involved

• Develop and implement the supply support concept in accordance with contractual requirements to ensure effective vessel and equipment availability, delivering the right items at the right place and time.
• Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to specify ship’s spare parts and maintenance support items, ensuring all supplied items are fit for purpose and aligned with contractual obligations.
• Manage and deliver spares, ship’s outfit, and support and test equipment within agreed cost and schedule constraints, ensuring cost-effective procurement and on-time delivery.
• Develop, maintain, and manage supply support data and codification requirements to ensure accurate, complete, and readily available information.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams including project management, configuration management, maintenance, and procurement and supply chain to establish strong working relationships and support project outcomes.

You’ll Need

Essential

• Qualifications at AQF Level 4 or above in supply chain management, engineering, logistics, a relevant trade, or logistic support (essential).
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in logistics or supply support roles.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work confidently across multiple systems and data sets.
• Sound understanding of the importance and role of data within a logistics support program.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capability with the ability to make independent, well-reasoned decisions.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable

• Experience in Defence contract logistic programs
• Maritime experience
• Knowledge of ISO 55000 Asset Management
