About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Scheduler to join our Cairns team. Reporting to the Scheduler Lead, you’ll develop and maintain project schedules that support sustainment contracts.
This role goes beyond timelines â you’ll use data to drive decision-making, working with stakeholders to ensure performance is measurable, aligned, and EVM-compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules
- Set baselines for resource and capacity planning
- Maintain consistent, accurate scheduling across teams
- Support EVM reporting and variance control
- Improve scheduling systems and processes
What You’ll Bring
- Australian Citizenship (for clearance)
- ~5 years’ scheduling experience
- Primavera P6 proficiency (2+ years)
- Understanding of EVM, forecasting, and cost estimation
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Defence, Government, or commercial project experience (desirable)
- AIPM certification (CPPM or higher) (desirable)
- Shipbuilding/Defence background (desirable)
