You’ll Need
 
Essential
  • Diploma or recognised equivalency certification in Quality Assurance, Lean Management, Engineering or Project Management.
  • Familiarity with Class and Regulatory Requirements; ISO 9001 standard
  • Previous industry experience working in a Quality Assurance / Quality Control role.
  • Well-developed planning and organisational skills
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken format
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  Desirable

  • Quality Management experience
  • Auditor
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001, and of working within Quality Management systems as they apply to shipbuilding, defence, and/or other manufacturing
  • Previous Defence / Commercial maritime experience
  • Production Trade experience or Maintenance Operations – marine / ship repair related
  • Conflict resolution, negotiation, and facilitation skills
