As the Senior Naval Architect for Austal Defence Australia (ADA), you’ll be responsible for providing and supporting the design of a vessel from concept through the delivery, on time and on budget.

What’s Involved
- Produce accurate information and documentation, which meets all procedural and auditable requirements
- Ensure work deadlines are met and construction deliverables are not compromised or missed
- Effectively and efficiently communicate through drawings, verbal and written means to all necessary parties
- Consistently exhibits a proactive attitude towards innovation and improvement and actively seeks alternate methods of performing tasks
You’ll Need
- Bachelor of Engineering â Naval Architecture
- Advanced AutoCAD skills
- A solid understanding of Production methods and practical application of design
- Knowledge of regulatory body Rules and Regulation requirements
- 5+ years experience in a similar position
- Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance
