What’s Involved

  • Lead and mature an integrated program controls function across multiple Defence programs
  • Establish governance frameworks covering cost, schedule, risk, change, and performance management
  • Embed Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance measurement baselines
  • Deliver portfolio-level reporting, forecasting, and performance insights to executive stakeholders
  • Lead scenario modelling and forecasting to support strategic planning and decision-making
  • Standardise controls tools, systems, and reporting frameworks across programs
  • Identify risks and performance gaps and drive corrective actions
  • Collaborate with Construction, Engineering, Supply Chain, Program Delivery, and Project Management teams
  • Lead the Work Pack Distribution function to support integrated planning and production readiness
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing controls and scheduling team

 

You’ll Need

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Buisness, Commerce,  Finance, Economics,  Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within project or program controls functions in large, complex project environments
  • Strong expertise in integrated planning, cost control, forecasting, Earned Value Management, and performance management
  • Experience with Primavera P6, SAP, Cobra, Power BI, or equivalent project controls systems
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Experience operating in highly regulated industries such as Defence, construction, infrastructure, or heavy industry
  • 10+ years’ experience delivering complex infrastructure, Defence, construction, or major capital projects
  • Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
  • Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance
