Position Title: Pipe Fitter

Location: Henderson, Hope Valley Road

• Located in Henderson and Naval Base
• Permanent Full-Time position
• 40-hour week, Monday – Thursday
• Overtime available depending on project requirements.
• Penalty rates paid on overtime hours, as per ECA agreement.

Key objectives & responsibilities include:

• Conduct Pipe Fitting duties including fit up and pipe assembly.
• Assemble and fit marine parts such as Valves and other equipment to the Ships systems.
• Conduct pressure testing of ships pipe systems
• Inspect work to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, tidy productive work environment with an aim to minimise all waste in all forms.

Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:

• Hold a Construction safety induction (white card)
• Trade Qualification – Certificate III Pipe Fitting / Boiler Making
• Ability to use standard tools and equipment related to the trade.
• Capable of performing work in a safe and acceptable manner
• Confined Space and Working at Heights ticket advantageous.
• Forklift, Dogman/Rigger license is advantageous.
