About the Opportunity
As the Material Planner for Austal Defence Australia (ADA), you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all materials and components required for production are available on time as per the schedule, in the correct quantities, and meet quality and specification standards. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate material data and ensuring that material requirements are correctly represented in the ERP system to enable efficient procurement and production planning. The role focuses on translating the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) into a Production Bill of Materials (PBOM), validating material accuracy from both input and output perspectives across work orders and shop orders. The Material Planner ensures timely release of orders to the Supply Chain team to support on-time procurement and delivery in line with project and production schedules.
