This role manages the Bill of Materials (BOM) driven by requisitions and collaborates closely with project teams to provide status updates, highlight critical issues, and resolve schedule conflicts. As an embedded member of the Integrated Project Team (IPT), their responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, tracking shipments, managing inventory levels, and addressing supply chain issues. As the primary point of contact for project materials, the Materials Expeditor coordinates additional supply chain support as needed. You’ll Need

 

Essential

  • 5+ Years relevant experience in Materials/ Manufacturing environment preferably in an Engineering/Manufacturing or equivalent business.
  • Proven experience in complex project support or supply chain management roles.
  • Knowledge of BOM management and inventory control practices.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably IFS) and Excel.
  • Understanding of MRP processes and material planning.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.

 Desirable
