This role is responsible for ensuring all scheduled and corrective maintenance is completed on time and to a high standard during key maintenance periods, including emergency service visits.The goal is to keep our vessels in top condition and fully compliant with all safety, regulatory, and operational requirements.  Key objectives & responsibilities includesPlan, prepare and execute maintenance and project work lists, ensuring safe delivery to scope, schedule, and budget.Monitor and report on project progress, schedule adherence, and financial performance, supporting the delivery of contracted work.Ensure all work meets required quality standards through inspections, approvals, and the application of ISO-compliant procedures.Support business managers in coordinating assigned resources and contractors to meet project needs.Effectively communicate goals, expectations, and updates to project teams and stakeholders.Plan and schedule maintenance and project activities to ensure efficient task execution.Promote and enforce strong environmental and safety practices in all work areas. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager or Program Manager. Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:Strong understanding of safety practices, including confined spaces, working at heights, working with energised systems, isolations, risk assessments, permits, and Job Safety and Environment Analysis (JSEA).Ability to plan, organise, and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure team environment, including contractor management. Ability to effectively resolve internal and external disputes and negotiate to achieve positive outcomes.Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within teams and with stakeholders.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to generate and present clear reports.Desirable Experience or knowledge of defence statutory compliance and adherence to relevant regulations.Experience in project supervision, planning, and scheduling within the marine or maintenance industry.Proficient in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for maintenance operations.Experience or knowledge in preparing quotes & estimates.
