What’s Involved Lead the scheduling team to provide a sought-after scheduling and planning service to internal project management and ship management teams and the customer.Develop high-level schedules and project baselines using a defined frameworksDevelop resource plans to support operational capacity planning and program delivery planning for relevant contracts.Create detailed project and activity schedules for each team delivering products within relevant contracts.Drive good practice across the delivery community to achieve consistency, accuracy and reliability of schedules.Develop standards, processes and workflows to support robust scheduling practices.Develop Earned Value Management reporting and variance controls in conjunction with cost controllers and program leaders.Drive continuous improvement of the scheduling and reporting system through collaboration with stakeholders to drive operational excellence.Accountable for the development of high-level schedules and project baselines to support operational capacity planning and program delivery planning of ISS contracts.You’ll Need 10 years of scheduling experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role in complex marine environments (ship building or sustainment, or transferrable sector)Tertiary Engineering qualification or Naval Architecture qualification.Minimum certificate 101, 102 Primavera training / or relevant experience working in a Primavera scheduling role.High attention to detail and accuracyStrong Stakeholder management and customer service focusResults oriented, pursues improvement and outcomes while maintaining risk awareness.
