About the role
As a member of the HSE Department, the Case Manager â Injury Management (IM) is the primary Austal representative responsible for managing the injury management of our workers, and supporting their recovery and return to work. The Case Manager will administer the Austal injury management programs including; Early Intervention, low-risk workers compensation claims management, and Non-Work-Related Medical Restrictions (personal health) cases. Complex cases will be referred to a Rehabilitation Specialist.
The Case Manager - IM will also track our performance against organisational indicators and ensure that our document procedures remain current and up to date in our business management system (BMS). They will liaise with our Workers Compensation Insurer and Broker, ensuring compliance matters are actioned within agree timeframes.
