What’s Involved

  • Produce accurate information and documentation, which meets all procedural and auditable requirements
  • Ensure vessel design complies with relevant regulatory authorities, specifications and customer requirements
  • Manage design input from third parties such as drawings, certification and manuals
  • Selection and requisitions for Electrical power and control, automation, components and devices etc
  • Preparation of design and drawings including calculations and schematics
  • Design of power generation, distribution, control, lighting and power arrangement, automation, emergency shutdown system, navigation and communication systems
  • Design support for production, commissioning and delivery

You’ll Need

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Mechatronics) or equivalent
  • A solid understanding of LV & ELV Power generation and distribution.
  • A solid understanding of electrical engineering calculations e.g Short Circuit, Battery calcs
  • Advanced AutoCAD skills
  • Solid understanding of Production methods and the practical application of design
  • >3 years relevant experience.
