About the Role

The Configuration Management Specialist (CM) for Austal Defence Australia (ADA) will enable effective CM delivery at Austal Defence Australia supporting project outcomes, customer acceptance, and smooth transition to sustainment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the seamless coordination and execution of CM activities within our Systems Engineering Division
  • Assist in the completion and close out of CM activities in accordance with engineering plans and schedules.
  • Be at the forefront of coordinating and delivering CM activities in a dynamic Systems Engineering environment
  • Ensure the correct capture of configuration information/changes within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool.

About you

  • Maritime Degree or trade qualification would be considered highly desirable.
  • Experienced in working side-by-side with engineering teams to deliver solutions.
  • Skilled in management and team development, with a focus on driving performance and engagement.
  • Hands-on experience utilising Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
  • Well-versed in Configuration Management methodologies, including planning, procedures, and process implementation.
