You’ll need

Essential

  • Trade qualification – Welder / Fabricator, Boat builder or Boilermaker 
  • Previous experience in Boiler making / Welding in heavy industry
  • Able to attain welding qualification to Survey Body level standard
  • Capable of performing work in a safe and acceptable manner
  • Demonstrate adequate theoretical knowledge 
  • Ability to use standard tools and equipment related to the trade 
  • Possess good time management skills and ability to meet set targets

 

Desirable

  • Previous experience in Boiler making / Welding in the Marine Repair industry
  •  First Aid, EW and Forklift Certification
  • Previous experience in Defence / Government
