About the OpportunityAs a member of the Quality Team the Quality Assurance (QA) Advisor will audit and inspect Quality Assurance activities within business processes, and where necessary report, investigate and resolve identified non-conformance. What’s Involved Conduct Inspections in accordance with the Austal QA Inspection schedule.Conduct internal quality audits of the deployed Quality Management System (QMS) , as scheduled. Under direction, and in conjunction with Stakeholders, develop and recommend inspection and sampling techniques, quality control plans, process control procedures, testing and analysis procedures to ensure that products meet specifications and standards.Conduct OQE audits of records / documentation developed during business wide inspection and test activities.Assist in the maintenance and deployment of QMS documentation.Document quality issues and performance measures for management reviewAdminister the relevant systems utilised for monitoring and documenting quality issues and actions.Maintain QA registers with progressive status of the works.Monitor, act and resolve issues raised in the business non-conformance register. Assist with implementation of the Non-Conformance trend analysis process & develop QA Alerts as requiredUnderstand business process compliance and reporting procedures and processes.Support and assist supervisors and line management to undertake quality investigations.Conduct Quality event investigations as required, write investigation reports, and implement effective corrective actions.Develop and disseminate "Lesson Learnt" from investigations outcomes.Prepare risk assessment documentation in line with Quality procedures.Monitor compliance in the workplace to HSEQ risk policies and procedures.Apply risk management principles to initiate new ideas and solutions to control potential quality risks.Support and assist supervisors and line management to undertake process risk assessments, as required. You’ll Need   EssentialDiploma or recognised equivalency certification in Quality Assurance, Lean Management, Engineering or Project Management.Previous industry experience working in a Quality Assurance / Quality Control role. You’ll Need
