About AustalSecurity Clearance roles only: Due to the Security Clearance required for this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain and uphold a Baseline Security Clearance. About the roleThe Reliability Engineer is responsible for the RAM (Reliability, Availability & Maintainability) function within the ILS discipline and manages engineering investigations, to ensure:RAM requirements are achieved in accordance with the relevant project,Effective execution and RAM analysis utilising and methodologies such as FMECA, RCM and CBM,RAM discipline and outcomes are effectively represented during design review,Maintenance analysis is effectively completed delivering a cost effective maintenance program for managing the technical integrity of assets in service,Engineering investigations are held to determine RCA of failures, supportability or RAM improvements of assets in-service. Key objectives & responsibilities include:Conduct reliability investigations to identify deficiencies in existing mission and support system and/or to optimise asset reliability, availability, maintainability and safety.Understand and, where necessary, develop and maintain reliability engineering processes and procedures.Perform a variety of modelling and analysis that relates to the reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of systems.
